see the attached pdf for the minutes of the last AGM and this years’ reports. Please bring copies with you as there will only be a limited number of printed copies.

This year we are pleased to welcome Adrian Arbib from the Renewable Energy Co-operative to speak after the meeting and Martin Blamire, from Birmingham Tools for Self Reliance, selling reconditioned tools.

One of our tasks as a Management Group is to ensure we operate within a code, not only the Councils’ Management agreement, but our own membership constitution. The revised constitution is appended as a pdf  - this needs approval by the membership, so do please read ahead of the meeting.

Nominations have now closed for membership of the 2015-2016 Committee, with details announced at the AGM and published around the site on the three notice boards and in the Pavilion.

Congratulations to our March competition winner, now it’s your turn to enter….

Charlotte Birkett, plot 112, correctly named three designer beers sold in the Pavilion - “Bhacka Rackhams’, ‘Sweet FA’ and ‘Baskerville Bitter’ and wins four free packets of Kings Seeds.

This month it’s a little more cryptic - we’re asking you to tell us which plot has ‘big TIME’. If you have a chat with Mark or Oonah in the Pavilion they might even tell you which zone it is in. BTW, the plot owner and partner can’t enter! Three lucky winners can select up to £7.50 worth of products from the Seed Store.

Text your answers to me, Jenny Jupe, on 07971153938, by Friday 24 April and all correct entries will go into a draw to be picked at the AGM on Saturday 25 April.

Competition closing date:           Midnight on Friday 24 April 2015

Backgammon Club….a great opportunity starting this month

We are looking to set up a backgammon club and would like to invite players with any or “no” skill level to join us on Saturday 25 April between 3 – 5  at the Pavilion. Alan and Jon, who will initially organise the club, are experienced players and they can teach young and old how to play.

If any experienced players would like to come then please do bring along your backgammon board…..

….We look forward to seeing you there.

MacMillan Fund raising event

The Association is committed to Charitable Fund raising. Saturday 20 June will see an exciting event in the Pavilion and immediate grounds to raise funds for MacMillan nurses - this very worthy cause. Details will follow in the May newsletter and around the site. Do bookmark the event in your diary and try to support it
